EOx™ Releases “O2 Power” for Safer, Cheaper, Long-Term Bioremediation
EOx™ by EOS Remediation is a calcium-based bioremediation product that provides a controlled oxygen release in contaminated groundwater and saturated soils. The sustained release of oxygen stimulates indigenous bacteria, accelerates bioactivity, and promotes increased contaminant removal. The result is superior "clean up" that sidesteps the many environmental downsides of traditional, more complex compounds.
Because of its innovative, well-researched, scientifically proven formulation, EOx™ is safe to handle, and easy to apply or inject. A single injection provides sustained aerobic bioremediation activity shown by laboratory results to last for 20 months or more, yielding exceptional results with lower cost and maintenance requirements than many products on the market. The high ratio of O2 in the product (>16% by weight) contributes to significant capital cost savings compared to other commercially available oxygen-releasing compounds.
Laboratory research demonstrates a remarkable cumulative release of O2 in situ over a 20-month period. Rapid release of oxygen within 100 days of injection jump starts bioactivity and is balanced by sustained release of O2 for approximately 650 days. EOx™ helps nature take the lead for rapid, long-term aerobic bioremediation.
In addition to product features, customers benefit from a sophisticated, complimentary design tool that enables them to plan and execute bioremediation projects with EOx™. EOS Remediation also provides customers with peer-reviewed technical papers on our products, academic research on reclamation chemistry and outstanding customer service. EOx™ is shipped in 50 Kg, fiber-based drums, and we can work with customers on appropriate package recycling programs to help them keep waste out of local landfills.
