Design and Evaluation of in situ Bioremediation Applications

Emulsified oil substrate (EOS®) has been injected at thousands of sites to serve as a long-term electron donor source for treating chlorinated solvents, chromium, nitrate, explosives, and other contaminants by enhanced biological reductive processes. This remedial method can result in very effective site clean-up of contaminated groundwater. However several criteria must be explored to implement this technology effectively at a remediation site. Characteristics such as hydrogeology, microbiology and groundwater chemistry must be thoroughly investigated during the planning and design phase of a project. In this webinar speaker Brad Elkins, PG of EOS Remediation’s technical support department will review common site evaluation and design criteria while sharing valuable lessons learned from years of assisting project managers and engineers as they conduct in situ bioremediation projects
